陈颖西部旅行图记（一）“荒野中的玫瑰”

<DIV>        又一次背包走进中国西部。不过这次不再是一个人，而是跟随厦门新闻采访团。</DIV>

<DIV>        真的跟西部很有缘，这个缘分一是说：我总能有机会到大西北转悠，二是因为去年有了可可西里之行，恰好在一周年后，我的这次旅行实现了与可可西里战友的重逢。</DIV>

<DIV>        这真的是一次走马观花式的出差，但能给我一次与可可西里战友相聚的难得机会，再好不过了。因为我的战友是兰州人，所以第一站所到的兰州现在也格外让我思念。</DIV>

<DIV>      “荒野里的玫瑰”是我私自给兰州取的小名。</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>         第一次到兰州。飞机从上空靠近这个目的地，我的心突然砰砰跳了起来。嘿，真的意想不到自己看到了什么：连绵不断的山峦裸露着黄土的脊背，说白了吧，就是一片荒山秃岭……我几乎错以为又回到了全国最大的“无人区”可可西里，这里会有生命的迹象吗？后来我知道，兰州是一个极其缺水的城市，老天爷很少在这里“掉眼泪”，山上想要长草都难——这让兰州人绿化荒山的理想成了多年的奢望。</DIV>

<DIV>        兰州就是这片荒山秃岭中的绿洲。幸亏黄河宠爱这里，独独穿兰州城而过（兰州是全国唯一一个黄河穿城而过的城市），“亲手”创造出了一个粗犷与浪漫并存的城市文明。</DIV>

<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>        兰州市花最浪漫了——玫瑰。想不到兰州有个玫瑰之乡——兰州水登县苦水公社是我国最大的玫瑰种植基地之一，而苦水玫瑰的栽培到现在已有一百五十多年的历史。</DIV>
<DIV>        相传在清道光年间，苦水下新沟有位名叫王乃宪的秀才，到西安参加科举试，回家时顺手带回几株玫瑰苗，栽培在庭院内。由于苦水的土壤和气候适合玫瑰生长繁殖，很快玫瑰就蔓延成了“花海”。每年5月是玫瑰花竞相开放的季节，花香四溢，惹得当地老百姓也抢着“移植浪漫”。不过几年，玫瑰花就染红了苦水川。</DIV>

<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>        民国年间，玫瑰花又展现了经济价值。外地商贩主动跑来苦水收购玫瑰花瓣，当时还只是作为酿酒、糕点的佐料。1961年，开始提取玫瑰精油。1981年，永登县成立了玫瑰研究所，专门从事玫瑰的种植和开发研究。近年来，苦水玫瑰广泛种植，玫瑰系列产品繁多，驰名中外。</DIV>

<DIV>      这个中学生是我们在中山铁桥上偶遇的，她说自己趁暑假社会实践卖报纸，结果她只要笑一笑，手上的《兰州日报》一下被我们采访团的“男记”们包销了。</DIV>

<DIV>       兰州市的风景几乎寸步不离黄河两岸。当地人有个叫法是——“黄河风情线”。</DIV>
<DIV>       我所在的地方是兰州“黄河风情线”上的水车园。</DIV>

<DIV>      这就是兰州最古老的桥——中山铁桥，已经有近一百年的历史。</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>      但在1942年前，它的名字是兰州黄河铁桥， 还有“天下黄河第一桥”之称。</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>      据说在清光绪33年（1907年），清政府动用国库白银30.669万两，由德国商泰来洋行喀佑斯承建，美国人满宝本、德国人德罗作技术指导，建起了长达233.33米，宽7.5米的黄河第一座铁桥，初名“兰州黄河铁桥”，1942 年才改为“中山桥”。 </DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>     这铁桥是德国人建的，经历了近百年光阴还在使用（现已成了步行桥），真够结实的。不过我惊讶的是听说了这么一件事：这桥到了使用年限的时候，德国那边竟然还发函来提醒兰州市政府：因为铁桥已到了使用年限，要注意修护安全等等。</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>     据说那时候连德国设计师都已经不在了，竟然还有人提供这样的“售后服务”，能不叫人钦佩商家的“诚信”。相形之下，我们自己造的桥不出现豆腐渣工程就噢弥陀佛了，哪管什么“百年大计”？</DIV>

<DIV>      在黄河上过渡用羊皮筏子，已经有1800多年历史。这“船”的轮子是羊皮胎，怎么做的呢？据说要从脖项到尾巴将山羊皮剥取成一个完整的袋子，不能划破一点地方。用盐水脱毛后，在皮袋内放入适量的清油和盐水，将脖颈、三肢的破口处扎紧，留另一肢向内吹足气扎紧，成鼓圆形状，吊在屋檐下晾晒，几天后见皮胎通体发黄透明，即可使用。据称，这样皮胎就变得密闭柔软，可以防裂、防腐、防水。 [br][br]　　与其它水上运输工具相比，羊皮筏子体积小而轻，浮力大，变向灵便，十分适宜在黄河上漂行，而且所有的部件都能拆开之后携带。目前，兰州黄河边供游客乘坐的羊皮筏子，大多是用13只羊皮囊采取前后4只中间5只的排列方式捆绑而成的小型筏子。据说，从前最大的羊皮筏子有五百只羊皮囊，能载重几十吨，用筏工们的话来讲，这可真算得上是筏子中的“航空母舰”。       </DIV>

<P>     在兰州“黄河风情线”附近转悠，觉得兰州是个叫人放松的地方。并非双休日，兰州滨河路一带随处可见吹拉弹唱、舞棍弄剑的兰州人，休闲得很。

<P align=left>[br]    兰州拉面最有名。在厦门家门口就能吃一碗“兰州拉面”，可是正宗的拉面还得到兰州来。[br]
<P align=left>    说起兰州牛肉拉面话就长了。牛肉拉面最早始于清光绪年间，到现在已经有120年的历史，为回族老人马保子首创，以“一清（汤）二白（面）三绿（香菜蒜苗）四红（辣子）五碎（牛肉）”而著称。   </P>
<P align=left>      奇的是兰州牛肉面还很通“人性”，因为面型跟“人种”一样多，一种款式对应一种人的个性，说白了，就是老少皆宜。比如男孩子吃“二细”（稍粗），女孩子吃“细”的，中老年人又偏好“韭叶子”和“毛细”（更细的）；文化人知识分子爱吃“细”的和“韭叶子”，工人、军人和孟汉却偏爱“宽”的甚至“大宽”（指二宽）……不同的性格不同的人造就了牛肉面的种种面型，而多样的面型又塑造着兰州人的涵养和性情。据说“毛细”是温柔，“头细”是随和，“二细”是阳刚，“韭叶子”给你平静，“宽的”给你豪放，“大宽”让人威猛武野……说到这里，我想谁都忍不住想“来一碗”了吧。</P>

<P align=left>      我们在兰州市全顺楼品尝拉州拉面，现场还有号称全国拉面比赛冠军的师傅进行拉面表演。真够绝的，那哪里是制作美食，简直就是魔术表演：这年轻师傅潇洒地推拿拉扯几下，就把一大坨面团变成了各种形状的面条：有毛蟹形的，宽带形的，菱形的……[br][br][br][br]
